Our Premiere Event of the Year
The Trailblazer Race raises community awareness and essential funds that allow us to promote community involvement and pride in the completion, enhancement and enjoyment of trails and wildlife corridors in the Stevens Creek watershed. The first segment of the Stevens Creek Trail was established in 1993 and currently extends over 5 miles from Shoreline Park to Dale-Heatherstone in Mountain View, close to the Sunnyvale border. Cupertino opened its first section of trail in 2010. Los Altos and Sunnyvale are studying possible connecting routes. Individual cities along Stevens Creek actually build the trail, but it takes many years of preparation and hard work behind the scenes to achieve that. Increasing public awareness, support, and consensus must come first, which is what the Friends does. Your support is greatly appreciated.
